The was held by the International Health
Economics Association (IHEA) in Beijing on July 12-15, 2009. Health economists
from all over the world met to share recent research and discuss issues ranging
from affects of single interventions in hospitals to the role of health economists.
| William Hsiao from Harvard School of Public Health summarized the challenges for
health economists with three points. The three challenges can furthermore
represent three outcomes of IHEA 2009: |
