Overview
In January 2009, the ACCESS Health International held a first Focus Group meeting at the
Indian School of Business. During this day of in-depth discussions, the topics of Information sharing
and Communication,
Implementation and the Access to Health Care conference were highlighted.
It was a pleasure to see so many participants at the meeting and the active member
participation in the discussion sessions was encouraging. We find it important to get
a feel for existing gaps and where there is a need for the ACCESS Health International to
play an active role. The Focus Group meeting gave us the opportunity to tune into several
good suggestions on what to focus on in this initial phase of the organization’s formation.
